There are many paintings old and new on external walls and on the ceilings of the older houses. In particular, I was impressed by the blue paintings of strange faces that look as if they are carvings. I would love to know more about these.

The mayor recently commissioned 14 modern stations of the cross, tucked away down a long lane on the outskirts of the town. I personally like them but many people think the money could have been better spent.
The village is/has been the home to many fine craftsmen: from carpenters, to mosaic makers, from wrought iron to stone masons, there is also an artist from Ofena.
There are also many fountains in the village and two abandoned wash places where the villagers used to do their washing. Trace of decoration can still be seen.
There are also a weird and wonderfully collection of letter boxes and pigeon coops. Some of the latter are rather fine buildings in their own right.
